recieved a call today, Im approved for a revision, from lap band to sleeve!!! Im so happy i could cry...I would love for some help on grocery lists to stock up my pantry for after surgery and for what i need to take to the hospital with me...any help is appreciated...

congradulations on your approval. It will go pretty quickly now, strap on your seat belt. I cannot give you an suggestions as I know nothing about the sleeve.

Good for you, I went from band to sleeve in July 2011, was more successful with that but now having acid reflux...so I am now going to RNY...stock up on the liquids...soups, s/f jellos, puddings, popsicles, etc. It's easy but work.

thank you .... im hoping i wont have reflux, i have it now....but i have heard ya do....im goi tomorrow to grocery store for some stuff, then again the tuesday before my surgery to get the rest....im so ready for this....again thank you for the tips

I am so happy for you! I wish I could say the same. I was denied today. I can get the band out but, no revision.

That seems ridiculous...
Does your insurance cover WLS or just removal due to problems?

You have a BMI high enough. What was the reason for denial?

i hope you plan on appealing it....thats crazy....i had my family dr write a letter for my revision...my asthma is worse than ever, i have high blood pressure and acid reflux so i think that helped with my approval...and i have an awesome doctor for my revision

My health issues are right there with you. I was able to do a verbal apply. We will see what happens. The Super of Customer Service talk with the head of applies and they both talked to my insurance reap. They still have to talk to my PCP. And get documentation from both.

praying for your appeal to come thru for you....sometimes thats what it takes....your doctor should let see you have to have it for your health and hopefully they approve it....
