Hello.

I had surgery in 2004 and have had a weight regain initially I lost 141pound and in 11 years I've regain 70...

I have Cigna PP0 and I wonder if anyone here has been approved for revision surgery ?

If yes was it a hard did they require q strict criteria to get approval ?

Thanks

There is no way any one here can tell you that because even if they have Cigna it won't be the same policy as yours they are all different depending on what the employer chooses. Your best way to find out is to call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask them if revisions are covered and what the requirements are, then you will know for sure what you are looking at.

Hi,i had stomach stapling in 1987  lost 70 lbs kept it off till 2010, then i had a revision in 2010 because I was throwing up daily and i assumed i could maintain my weight! So I no longer throw up,but i gained 35 lbs and can't get it off .so I am 235 lbs now.I want to see if my surgeon will revise it again ????????But my family doctor has to  re  refer me to the specialist DR Hagen in Toronto Ontario I Canada. It was covered by our health system in Canada OHIP we call it here.
