I had RNY revision 3 weeks ago, lost 13 pounds in 10 days and then nothing... staying at the 13 for the past two weeks. I am taking in about 800 calories, up to maybe 900, a day... starting to walk a little. I was late to that due to pain boy, had a lot of pain this time. Anyone had this issue?

You are in the famous 3 week stall.  Very common during the first weeks after surgery and a large weight loss.

Keep doing what you are doing and avoid the scale if possible.  The weight will drop as long as you eat the way you are supposed to.

That's such encouraging news! With my first time 'round I lost so steadily and consistently and I expected something similar but to know I am not alone is great! TY!

Hello, I just wanted to see how your doing after your revision? I'm considering having it done with Dr. Rod. Also. I had a GBP done in 2003. I've gained about 60 lbs. Can you let me know if it worked and how much you have lost? Thank you so much!

I am looking at having a revision done as well to a RNY that I had done in 2001.   What type of revision did you have if you do not mind me asking.

Utpoohbear: I had my RNY about the same time as you.  I am interested in a revision. I have a doctor's appointment next week. Of course, my insurance will not cover this procedure.  Self-pay is about $5,000. I would have to take out a loan. I have gained 10 pounds since last year. I feel so heavy! I was proud of myself for maintaining my weight for so long, though I never reached my goal weight. I now know so much more I am willing to abide by.
