Revisions?

Had a sleeve in 2010.....lost 135 lbs .....regain 133......what are options? Insurance doesn't cover any type of surgery that I can tell.

The first thing you need to do is figure out why you gained the weight. Is there something wrong with your sleeve that would require revision? Are you tracking what you eat?

I agree with Gwen. If your sleeve is medically sound, it sounds like the regain was from eating off plan. If you can't get your eating under control, another WLS won't help

I feel for you. I just got home from my Revision on RNY. Was surprised I got approved. I take full responsibility for my weight regain. I went from 285 to 165 then back to like 220. It was all diet related. I just didn't want to admit it to myself. If u still have co-morbitities, BP, Sleep Apnea, GERD, Cholesterol I would think u wouldn't have an issue getting approved.
