Am a little confused-is Revision Surgery the same as RNY? Just want to make sure I am in the right forum-pardon my ignorance!

Revision may refer to a person having one of the WLS offered now instead of the older type sugeries that were offered in the past. It can also refer to fixing one of the newer type surgeries that has opened up. This can occur when the stapling comes undone or when a fistula occurs. In my case, I have a gastro-gastric fistula. I had a transected RNY but a fistula occured between the old stomach and the new pouch. A fistula is an abnormal passage between two organs ( in this case , the two stomachs).
