I was banded in 2009. The most I lost was 30 lbs, which I have gained back. I have had nothing but pain and problems with the band. I tried for revision surgery in 2013 but insurance denied the revision. I will now be doing this self pay to get it done. I am nervous and scared but can't wait to get this foreign thing out of me and hopefully be successful with the sleeve. Prayers and any advice from others that have revised from band to sleeve would be most appreciated.

Has anyone been successful with an appeal to Tricare?  I have been banded since Oct 2009 and have had little success even with following all the rules.  I saw on here somewhere someone had posted information on the band for appeal purposes but I can't find it now.  Any information/help would be appreciated.
