I know....we have talked about this over and over but I can not find the postings...
I had big time issues before ---now it is worse...

Does probiotic yogurt help or a supplement for probiotics? I am on reglan from the Dr but it isn't helping much...

Did someone say vit E? Do you just drink the oil in a capsule?

I use benefiber also....I can not take Miralax....It cramps me and makes me sick. I eat oatmeal for bfast.

Any other ideas out there?

I take 5 capsules of Metamucil (Walmart brand) daily and it does the trick just fine!

in an "emergency" situation, I keep Milk of Magnesia on hand.

I take 150mg of colace daily (CVS brand)
benefiber
Acidophilous capsules (good bacteria you can also get by eating yogurt)
magnesium citrate

it seems a blend of any 3 of these every day works for me on a regular basis.

Sometimes a dose of caffeine will kick start me too, since i don't drink it regularly.

I was using Miralax, but my nurse practioner recommended trying dried apricots or prunes for a natural way to keep the constipation in check.  I'm not a big fan of apricots, but gave the prunes a try.  I eat 4 every evening for my evening snack, and havent had a bit of trouble since.  Give it a try!

Magnesium oxide will help quite a bit because it is not bioavailable at all.  Basically, it just dumps into your body and then forces your body to let it out.

You can find 400mg tablets OTC.

Mag citrate in capsule if you want the benefit of magnesium.  Mag oxide if you wanna go.
