OUT OF SURGERY

HAD MY SURGERY ON WEDNESDAY, GOT BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL TODAY AND I'M NOT FEELING THE BEST, I FEEL REALLY FULL, EVEN THOUGHT I'M JUST DRINKING WATER :(  ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS PASSING GAS, ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO DO THIS? OTHER THAN THAT SURGERY WENT GREAT

Are you walking plenty? My surgeon's suggestion was to walk the length of the hospital's hallway every hour. Now that I'm home, I walked about the same, steadily increasing my distance each day but keeping to a walk every 1.5-2 hours. That's helped me tremendously.

Glad you are doing well! I would try gas x strips and more walking. I never did pass very much gas, I just walked it all out!
Try crystal light or a squeeze of lemon in your water, sometimes that helps. Some people like cold drinks, some room temp and some warm. Try it different ways, you have to get the fluids in! Hope your recovery continues going well!

Walk frequently, sip water, and pain meds. I found my 'full' feeling was pain, but I just couldn't feel the pain, but when I started taking the meds again I felt a ton better. I think I was feeling fantastic after 6 days. Every day seems to get better than the last so jst wait a few more days!

The anesthesia can slow the intestines down.  When that completely wears off that should help as well.
