Help. Horrible headache for three days

I am almost three months out and have had a headache for three days now. I threw up everything and anything I put in me yesterday. I don't know if it's a migraine or if I am severly dehydrated. Wondering if I should call my surgeon or primary care or just go to er for fluids. Any help would be amazing
Thank you

If you think you are dehydrated then I personally would go to the e.r. Dehydration is so easy to get and makes everything more miserable.

If you think its a migraine they can also administer i.v. meds to help that. I've been to the e.r. many times for a migraine. As a matter of fact three weeks ago I went for a migraine and it saved my life as I had undiagnosed blood clots. I had a recent panniculectomy, which is what caused them.

Basically I don't take a chance with dehydration and migraines are miserable to begin with. I'd go to the e.r. Thats just me tho. I see no reason to keep being in migraine pain. They have meds that should knock it out quick and easy. Twenty minutes is all it takes for me.

Good luck and let us know how you are doing.

Met my first goal, met my second goal, met my surgeons goal. Now I have a new goal!

I agree with the ER visit. If you aren't even keeping fluids down, odds are very high that you are dehydrated and that is just too dangerous to play with.

It could be a stricture that is prohibiting you from keeping things down, or it could be a migrain. But taking care of your fluid levels quickly, is very important.
Went to get fluids. Dr actually ordered a mix of fluids and vitamins since I hadn't been getting any of them in. I slept after and feel a lot better!! Thanks for the advice
