Hey, yep it has been awhile since I have been on here..Really have missed everyone!...Life has taken over and gotten in my way...I have done GREAT on my weight loss journey...I have completly lost all my weight and kept it off for some time...I had plastics about 1 year ago and feel and look great from that...BUT...here for the last 3-4 weeks I am VERY sick at my "stomach" - had RNY- it seems to happen in the morning and then late at night...I had multiple labs done because I thought maybe vitamin diffecient? but all was normal execpt for a high foliac acid which is kinda weird but should not be causing nausea...I have not called my surgeon yet because I thought maybe a virus or vitamins or something- but now I am alittle worried- been living on zofran for weeks now and that can not be a virus that lasts that long- Just kinda looking to see if anyone has had any problems like this and what they did..Thanks for your advise-

I had a lot of nausea at about eight months out, turned out I had gall stones and needed my gall bladder removed.

I started having nausea again about 18 months out, had a scope to check for an ulcer, but there was none.  I was diagnosed with gastroparesis and now take meds for it.

If you've been feeling that sick for that long, you need to see a doctor, either your bariatric surgeon or a gastroenterologist, probably.  Could be ulcer, gall bladder or something else that needs medical treatment.

Sorry to hear but I can relate. I had my gallbladder removed in my first year postoperative but for the last few weeks I get sudden onset deathly nausea that lasts all of five secs then leaves. If I had a gallbladder I would swear that was it... I'm stumped
