Hooray 4 Me I made it through Phrase 1 (Bariatric Clear Liquids)  w/o the hunger of hunger/thoughts of food (thanking the GOD for apple juice/water (plain)  thought it was going to be a very stressful and torturing week on liquids but I didn't have any discouragement but through prayer and a strong/loving support  team all the way through this week.  I am able to add some interesting items to may can have list such as: mashed potatoes, sugar-free pudding, yogurt (not a fan of it but is willing to give it a try..any gr8t suggestions). Phrase 2 (Bariatric Full Liquids) begin's in a couple of hours (6am to b exact...)..I know this is going to be a good week b/c i love sugar free vanilla pudding already and i choose to change out the apple juice for cranberry. Only thing I am like semi-concerned about is that I didn't drink milk at all b4 the surgery so I am kind of effie bout the consequences of not taking in any milk ()..If anyone has any types of suggestions or ideas that might make it easier for me to find a way to began to tolerate drinking milk easier it will be greatly appreciated .

Milk will come in time..but if you are taking some suggestions...can I give you a few...you will give you a better start...start avoiding the carbs  and concentrate on the protein...substitute for some scrambled eggs..Get some 0 or 2% Greek yogurt(unflavored) flavored has too much sugar..it is loaded with protein and you can flavor it yourself.  Use some SF pudding mix and mix it in ...any flavor..I loved pistachio and cheesecake flavors.  Give up the fruit juice now and use the water and crystal light or something along those lines.  This is when you will start churning and burning the fat.  So the few the carbs....the more you body will start breaking down the fat.  Nectar protein powders are a staple around here...we are in the south and drink tons of tea...I love the the Nectar Iced tea protein and the Cappuccino flavors...

congrats on the surgery and I love you attitude..you will be very succesful!!  If I can answer any questions for you...please ask!!

Good Morning,
Thxz Chili, to me all advice is very helpful advice..i went shopping/gathered all of the necessities needed to be successful on this here phrase of my diet. i am definitely not a yogurt peson (never liked it) but at the same time i never thought bout using the unflavored and adding my own flavor to it. that was a great suggestion on ur part  and far as tea go that is no problem for me i am a advocate of tea. And as far as my mentality and attitude is concern i try to do wonders with it best to be a success at anything i had to learn very early on to look outside the expected.  If u see fit to leave me any more advice feel free to do looking foward to hearing from u very soon, Have a Wonderful Wednesday Morning.

You don't have to drink milk if you don't want.  Mix your protein shakes with water, soy milk or almond milk instead.  Keep in mind that cranberry juice often has sugar or high fructose corn syrup added and you might dump on that.

I'm not sure if your plan says that milk is mandatory, and if so, you should definitely follow your plan. However, milk isn't allowed on my plan, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem for you not to have it. A lot of people in my support group who are several years out still have problems w/ milk to this day because of the naturally occurring sugars. Good luck on this new stage!

This is the Best!! Lemon Tea Flavored!!
also the Cappacino flavored!

That greek yogurt, when I wanted something savory...I would add this Lipton soup and ate it with a spoon...I know it sounds strange, but it was good and nothing about this lifestyle is "conventional"  lol...

Salmon Salad was also a big favorite of mine...get a can of salmon, mix with a little mayo, s/p, lemon and dill...huge amounts of protein!!
