A bit of a classics buff, here. I have a favorite for every mood. But overall it's The Best Years of Our Lives. 1946 Myrna Loy, Frederich March, Dana Andrews....it's an amazing film.

From the past 50 years it's probably a tie between The Godfather and Shrek.
