Pre-surgical jitters

Well, it's starting...lol.  My stomach is doing flip flops over tomorrow.  I just got the call from the hospital that I need to be there at 6am and the actual procedure will be at 8am.  My poor husband is having anxiety attacks over it.  However, I am ready for a new life and change.  I've worked hard to drop some weight presurg and have cut out ALL soda.  Wish me luck and I'll see you guys on the loser's bench!

Good Luck to you, I am loving the start of my new life just after 27 days

I'd think you were odd if you didn't have any jitters at all.  Good luck!  See you on the other side.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!
Having the jitters is perfectly normal just try to relax and it will be over before ya know it... I hope all goes well and is uneventful... See ya on the losing side :)
Good Luck! Prayers will be being sent your way!  You will do great!  I just had my surgery on last Thursday. I live in Alaska, but had to go to Seattle for the procedure, got out of the hospital on Friday, post op on Monday, and was home in Alaska Monday early evening.  My prayer is for yours to go as smoothly as mine!! Best of luck :)

Best of luc****ep posting!
Good Luck Holly, I will keep you in my prayers. Keep us posted. I'm schedule to have my done on June 6. Wish you the best and speedy recovery.
Thank you everyone!  I will definitely post on here as soon as I can to update you guys.  I'm also going to become one of those awesome picture queens in hopes that it will help someone else as sooooo many before/after pics have kept me motivated and focused.  Yay!
Do document your journey in pictures and be sure to take your measurements today if you haven't.  In my experience when the weight loss was slower was when I saw the inches melt away quicker.

Also I would like to suggest the pre-op picture you took (or are taking today) that the outfit you wear that you keep it and try it on occassionally.  It really brings it all in perspective as to where you started and how far you've come.

Again best wishes, we'll save you a seat on the loser's bench.

Yay Hollie!!  Your day has finally arrived!  Best of luck to you tomorrow, sending you thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!  Keep us posted on how you do!

The jitters are normal. Although I just read where a couple of people were just really calm. So who knows? Everybody is different. I was real nervous the weekend before and then that early Monday morning I was fine, although my hubby made me cry when he said he wanted to pray for me before we got out of bed. And so he did. *sniffle-sniffle*.

I'm one of those who worries more about the IV than anything! LOL!

I hope it all goes real well for you! Exciting times!
Wishing you the best Hollie!  I'm sure all will be fine, be sure to post when you can.  Maybe take a walk with hubby tonight (weather permitting) and try to relax and laugh.
