Please Help Me With Shape Wear!!

Hi everyone-

I am 3 years out. I tried on my jeans yesterday and just groaned with sorrow. Such a muffin top of skin that I want to go AWAY! I am not having plastic surgery (which I WILL DO****il I have a child. I'm 30, disabled, and my husband is unemployed. We can't have a kid just yet.

Anyway..... what shapewear do you ladies wear? I see your pictures and you're all so sleek and trim looking. I am willing to be uncomfortable and wear whatever it takes to not feel as awful about my looks as I did before my RNY!

I didn't go through all of this to feel bad in my blue jeans!

Help! Please Give me your suggestions of shapewear for everyday!

Thanks so much in ADVANCE!!!!
I count protein, fluid ounces, and my blessings everyday.

walmart has a reasonable selection at decent prices.

Pre-plastics, I used to wear one like this. I liked wearing my own bra and it helps with the bra bulge:

Or just a plain waist nipper like this one:

 Hey Laura-
I was wondering how much weight you lost from your plastic surgery, if any? (I'm sure you did... my skin is heavy!)

Skin does not weigh much. From my lbl, I had 2 square feet of skin removed (basically an 8-inch strip all around my body) and it only weighed 5 pounds.

I wear the Assets ones from target. I think they are comfortable most of the time.

thanks ladies.... these look like the things I'm looking for!!!

This won't sit well with trendy people, but the muffin top only exists because of the super low pants women wear nowadays. Why not just wear classic fit pants? Or even hip-huggers (not pubic bone huggers)? Magic: no more muffin top!
Nope! Muffin top happens with those, also! My belly is badddddddd flab. I wouldn't dream of even trying on those low rise jeans!

I agree, Lauren!! Muffin-top can happen with any type pants.
