Prozac/Hunger question

Is/has anyone taken Prozac and found that they were Hungry!? Dr just swiched me and I find that I want to eat for a couple hours after taking it. Just wanted to see if it was just me or if others have felt the same way. Thanks!

I was on it years ago and it made me very hungry the first 2 weeks and then it went away

When I was on it I had no appetite at all.

 I'm on Prozac.  I take it at bedtime.  I haven't noticed hunger as a side effect.

Let me tag onto your question, do you take liquid or caps, and if caps, do you open them? Prozac is the most horrible tasting stuff. I am six weeks out and using the liquid, but am hoping I can go back to caps some day. Any comments?

I am on the caps and no I don't open them.  I have been taking caps/pills since a couple weeks out from surgery. Shouldn't be a problem.

 Long ago, I was on Prozac and lost weight. I mean, I ate less, cut out fats, and walked a lot and lost weight, but it was the Prozac that gave me the oomph to do it. It also made me aggressive and *****y, so I went off of it. Still *****y sometimes, though.
