Because my BMI is now 29.8!!! When I was looking into surgery my BMI was 44

the day I started my liquid diet 2 weeks preop i was 272.4lbs (size 22 pants)
   I lost 10lbs on the preop diet
Surgery day I was down to 262.6
I'll be 4m post op tomorrow and I'm weighing in at 202lbs (size 12 pants)  

I'm very optimistic about how much I'll change before my 6m post op visit.  I'm hoping to be atleast down to 180lbs which is my personal and  1st goal. I plan to be at my surgeons weight of 165 by my 1yr mark *fingers crossed*

So far I havent had a stall *knock on wood*  .although .I was rushed to the hospital recently because i was dizzy, blood pressure was low and having trouble breathing...after they ran tests they find out im anemic and was instructed to take iron.  I'm surprised my dr didnt suggest this before hand but we live and learn  I've been off ALL of my diabetic meds since i woke up from surgery...it is controlled completely through diet and excersize and has been in a normal range .  My blood pressure is normal..my PCOS is much better (I get my perioeds on time and i ovulate now!)

I feel like a normal 25 year old.  Surgery was the best decision I ever made!

Great news.. and AWESOME results! I am down 50lb and had surgery May 1st.. I have alot more to loss then you do but I really hope to have the same results! Thanks for sharing! You give hope when people like me think "will we ever get there!"

People werent lying when they said this would be 1 heck of a journey  Youre doing awesome!

 Get it girl!!!  You've done amazing!  But I have to agree with Larry on this one, where are your pics?!?!?!? LOL.  My goal is to be down 20 more lbs by my 6 month appointment too.  We can do it!!!
