ot-bronchitis

I went to the dr's yesterday and it turns out I have bronchitis and a double ear infection! Every time I cough my head feels like its going to explode...does anyone know what Ican take for it since tylenol doesnt seem to help-at all... and it seems like cough syrup doesnt work like it use to. Is this because of surgery or I dont know what. Any advice???

Just happened to me last week! I had bilateral ear infections, and strep throat. I was sucking on sugar free cough drops and throat lozenges all day. I did get Amoxicillin (what a horsepill!) and did take Nyquil. Once I had about 2 doses of the antibiotic in me I started feeling a little better. Look for sugar free cough suppressant and lozenges. That might help - nothing with NSAIDS though (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.)

Is tylenol an NSAID???? The dr told me ibuprofen but I know thats a def no....i started taking zithromax yesterday and took my 2nd dose today but the coughing seems to be worse and Im still running a slight fever...I just feel like crud...no appetite either
