Update on Depression

I want to thank everyone who gave me hugs and stuff.  I'm still in the throws of the dark cloud, but I did take some time to read a book that seems to offer some hope.  It's called The Chemistry of Joy.  I intend to follow some of the recommendations in the book.   Right now, it's baby steps, because the full program involves such a complete overhaul of my normal schedule that I'm a little overwhelmed.

one step at a time is all we can do.

Hang in there.  Always remember that tomorrow will be better.  No matter how dark it seems now, the clouds will lift and the sun will shine.

Please talk to someone.  There is no shame in depression or taking medication for it.  It's no different than any other health issue.  I know because I've been there.

HUGS!

Small steps over time lead to lasting changes... when I was going through some of my most severve depressive episodes - it was one moment at a time... hang in there... be gentle with yourself and reach out to those who love you for support. Hugs!
