Weight Loss Surgery Directory

I have lost a person and gained confidence

I can not begin to tell everyone how good it feels to look at myself in the mirror!  I have lost a total of 155lbs since surgery a little over a year ago.  My confidence is over the moon.  I love to wear dresses because I can actually fit into some cute dresses!  My husband is also loving the smaller me!  He loves putting his arms around my waist. I have a waist!! And collarbones.....  I love shopping for clothes, I am no longer in 3-4x shirts or 24-26 jeans. I wear a large, and even some mediums. I wear a size 12 jeans and in dresses.  I just want to say to newcomers, this was the best decision I could have ever made for myself. It was hard to imagine myself smaller at first, but the proof is in my clothes size!!!!!! Thanks for reading, I hope I have inspired someone to keep on keeping on, work through the hard part and it will pay off in the end

So great to hear!  I am about your same size before the surgery and wondered how it would be to be a size 14 or smaller.  I thought maybe I would look funny-it's been so long since I was that size-I totally can't even remember what it's like!!
I agree with the others. Congrats and thank you. I'm having a hard day and that thought that I will be gaining my life back gives me great hope. ;)
Congratulations. You have so muchto celebrate. Hope to be where you are soon. I have lost 120 lbs. RNY 9/19/11. I would still like to drop another 10 or so. But I am so grateful to feel so much better.. Good decision. I would do it again. The only deferent is rotten insurance that left me w a deductible . Oh and good health is worth it!
