Will our shoe size shrink?

Hi, I was just wondering if the surgery vets have found that their shoe size got smaller after they lost a good amount of weight?  I wear a 10 M now , but before I had my children years ago, I wore a size 9....  I keep seeing cute shoes, but don't know if I  should buy them now or wait until I lose the remaining 80 pounds?  Thanks....

Yes your foot size changes, I went from a 10w to a 9m and I'm only a 8 1/2 weeks post-op.

Yes I went down almost 2 sizes in mens size. Lucky I had saved some of my best old shoes so I could get into them again and they seem to be a little big now. So I would wait to buy more shoes.

I'd wait to buy new shows until you need them. I just went through this a couple of weeks ago, and ended up buying 9W because 9 1/2W was too big, but 9M was a tad too snug. I used to wear either 8 1/2 or 9 depending on the maker back in high school.

Mine didn't.. My feet were always LONG and skinny... My body finally caught up with them! I wear a size ELEVEN... I was hoping :)

Mine did I went from a 9 1/2 or 10 to an 8/12 or 9 so all of the shoes I used to love so much don't fit anymore

Sort of.  From my banding experience I can say that, while my feet got smaller, I didn't shrink a shoe size.  I had to get rid of all my old, stretched out shoes, but the new ones I bought were 11W just as they'd been before.  I'm waiting to see what will happen when I cross the 200 lb mark, which I didn't do before.

I bet your feet will shrink since you used to wear a smaller size.  I'd wait a bit before getting new shoes unless you are in dire straights right now as far as shoes go.  And how exciting, right?!
