I don't even know where this craving is coming from, but I'm fiending for the no bake cookies with sugar, milk, butter, cocoa powder, peanut butter, oatmeal, and vanilla something fierce!!!

Is there a healthy/healthier substitute I can make to satisfy my craving without having to feel guilty?

Please help!!!

My friend makes them with truvia instead of sugar. And he only makes a small amount because they are so easy to eat lots of. Good luck!

Do you know his recipe? If I add chocolate protein powder after they cool under 130, can I count them as protein bars? LOL

I would probably do something silly like roll a tablespoon of peanut butter in some oatfit oatmeal and call it a cookie..

Could you do something using PB2 and sugar substitute? And chocolate protein powder wouldn't hurt!

Try this maybe? This is what I do: Blend unsweetened vanilla almond milk, PB2, Chocolate Protein powder (Protizyme chocolate cake is good), vanilla extract & finely ground oatmeal in the blender. Add ice as desired. You now have a no bake cookie protein shake that tastes exactly like the cookie!! It's sooo good!

8 table spoons benifiber (fixes constipation and adds little calories)

Eliminate sugar and sub chocolate protein powder for cocoa.  Doesn't sound too bad.

I love those cookies! One of my favorite early memories are of me at 3 or 4 making them with my grandmother.

Personally, because the cookies rely on a careful balance of liquid, oil, and solids (e.g., if you use margarine instead of butter, they do not "dry", they remain moist and oily), I would think it would take a lot of experimenting (and failures) to substitute things to get it right.  I have never tasted a chocolate protein powder that has a flavor that is anywhere near as strong as cocoa powder; margarine or oil will not work in place of the butter; PB2 in place of peanut butter would throw the moisture content off and does not provide the same flavor punch, etc.

You could always make some (or buy some at Walmart) and keep one or two cookies and give the rest away.
