Carbmaster nonfat milk by Kroger?!

I was looking at all of the milk options today and found vanilla and regular carbmaster nonfat milk. It has 60 calories, 3 carbs, 11grams protein and 2 sugar per 8 oz. I bought some and made an 8 oz protein drink with 45 grams of protein, 11 carbs, 235 calories, 6 grams sugar. YUM!

I love that milk!! I think it used to be called something else....I might be wrong....but even my great grandchildren love it!!

What do they do to milk to take out so much of the lactose? Is it all milk, or do they water it down or something?

I'm not sure Kelly, but it doesn't taste or look any more watered down to me than 1% milk. lol

This milk is really good, they have a chocolate option too that doesn't have very many carbs in it either.

Omg thanks for the info! I'm always scared to drink too much milk for fear of the sugar. I love the Carbmaster yogurt.

I haven't tried their milk, but eat their yogurt. Also Kroger has a lite Greek yogurt with 18 gm of protein, in 4 flavors (vanilla, strawberry, peach and blueberry). In my area, it's 80 cents each, so much cheaper than brand names. The Carbmaster has 8 gms protein and is 40 cents each with a lot of flavors.
