Lyme Disease + Revision = ????
Taking antibiotics post op shouldn't be a problem. Many patients are swallowing pills immediately after surgery, but if you have trouble swallowing pills, you can crush them or use a liquid antibiotic.

Lyme is not joke. Make sure you check with the doc who is taking care of your Lyme and only if he said it is OK - decide to have RNY... A friend of mine was told that she should get VSG with a very mild case of Lyme. She still can take NSAIDS for any pain - inflammation, and has no problem with dealing with mal-absorbtion on top of dealing with Lyme.
