are there any safe allergy medicine i can take OTC?
Anything but NSAIDS. You can ask the pharmacist if you're not sure if a product contains NSAIDS or not. But something like Tylenol cold and sinus or benadryl or zyrtec or anything without ibuprofen.

Check with your doc. For most post ops anything with Tylenol (Tylenol sinus and allergy) or anything like that is ok. I can take nsaids with my surgeons ok. so I can take Advil sinus or allergy meds. Cloracedin seems to work well for us, doesn't mess with blood pressure and works well. Check with your doc or pharmacist. I think we can take most things that are over the counter for alergies.
