Off to hike the Camino de Santiago on Tuesday
Hi everybody,
I'm nearly four years out of RNY, lost 158 pounds and weigh 158 pounds. I had plastic surgery 16 months ago with Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico - had the works done - arms, boobs, UPL, LBL, thighs and a little face work. Never with either surgery did I have a complication or any problems whatsoever. I'm good at following rules.
I got a fitbit and became an avid walker, obsessed with my stats. And Tuesday I am going to Northern Spain to hike the 500 mile trek from France to the Ocean. I have all the stuff I'll need to last for 46 days in a backpack. And I am NOT a camper. I am a city girl, so this is me going way outside my comfort zone.
I'm happy that I had the surgery and can have this kind of adventure in my life. As you all know, this wouldn't have been conceivable or possible when I weighed 158 pounds more than I do now. I'm eager to test myself and looking forward to new adventures - Maybe Macchu Picchu next.
Live your dreams, everybody.
Cheers,
