Doctor appointments

Just curious how many people still go see their doctor that did the surgery? I had my surgery in 2008 and after 2 years I have never saw him again. Is that normal for people not to see you doctor again? He never said he wanted to see me again so I just never went back?

I have been advised to schedule a yearly appointment LIFETIME. (Regain keeps many from making that appointment)

I thought it was weird that he didn't say anything about needing to see me again. I would loved to keep having the support from them I think it would of made a difference. My original doctor that did the surgery left the clinic so I will call and see what to do. Thanks.
