Hi everyone,

Well it is finally here my Surgery Day 05/13/2014….. I have to be at Hospital University of PA at 5am for my 7am gastric bypass procedure. I am VERY VERY Excited to start the next step in my journey to better health and well being. I feel a little anxious about the surgery though, not what is to come just the surgery itself. I have been coming to this site since October 2013 and just want to say "Thank you!!!" to everyone on here for all your posts, advices, and personal experiences. Wish me luck here I go!!!!!! :)

Hey Newtown friend, I live just on the other side of the city in Havertown!

Congratulations on the arrival of your day! I had my surgery 8 weeks ago tomorrow at Temple - I checked out Penn's program (and Jeff and Einstein and Hahnemann), but decided Temple was the best fit for me. I'm sure you'll do fantastic.

Good luck!!!! My surgery was 5/5/14. I had by-pass, hernia repair, and gallbladder removal. 1week post-op and I feel great. YOU will too!
