And I've hit the 3 week stall...

Almost right on cue. I just reached the 4 week post-op mark and the scale hasn't moved in 10 days now. I've read so many posts about this, but when it happens to you it's hard to keep perspective. I'm sticking to my plan, I'm exercising, I've increased my protein in the last week, but it's still hard to keep myself from thinking that I've done something wrong. Sorry, I know this is a really common post for newbies to make, but now I understand all those posts. Most of the 3 week stall posts I have found using the search button are in the VSG forum, so I feel like it's not that helpful. Do any of you RNYers have anything to share to help me believe this too shall pass?

This too will definitely pass. . . and it won't be the last one!  Stay off the scale is my best advice!  It will move again. I promise!

i had my surgery April 8th,the weight  was moving along pretty well, and well now i am at a stand still, it doesn't help my job is sitting in a screening booth doing triage for 8 hours a day, but when i get pulled and have to move around and stick people constantly, that is where i like most lately so i can move qround  more, i am hoping i can break this plateau i am on and get the scale moving again.

That first pause in the weight loss is annoying, to be sure! Just hang in there, keep doing what your program says to, and you WILL keep losing. Before you know it, you'll see the pounds melting away again!

Hi Finding Feather - we are surgery buddy's - I too have been in a stall now for 10 days - sitting at 264. I have had some issues eating solid foods also. Very depressed thinking that here I am eating about 450 calories a day and I cant lose? Starting to fear that I may be the one person who can't lose even with this drastic surgery!! Anyway - reading this board has been helpful especially knowing that others have gone through this same thing. Hang in there!!
