I RAN!

On my bucket list was to run again (after a 19 year pause ;-).  I joined the running room when I hit 180 and I'm running!!!!  I lost 9 lbs in the first two weeks!  I am enjoying the outside and the social aspect of it.

Signed up for a 5 k  run in July!

I'm soooo very happy with the results of the surgery and getting my life back!

Your post makes me smile! I too started running after my surgery and discovered that I love it! I ran my firat 5k last April, will be doing a 5k color run in August and, the big one, doing a 10k in October with my daughter. None of it was even remotely in my thoughts before the surgery! At my 6 month checkup I joked with my doctor that I suspected they had rooted around in my brain when they did my RNY.

I started running at 225 and I'm getting so much better! I love and hate it! Glad things are going well.
