I hate water

I am having SUCH a hard time getting my liquids in. I hate water, I hate those thingys you put in water to give it a flavor, I hate milk, I hate flavored waters, and I hate the taste of everything liquid it seems! I don't know why! Before surgery I didn't hate all that. I wasn't fond of it but I didn't hate it. I am 2 months out and I'm getting SO tired of forcing myself to drink stuff that makes me feel like vomiting. I know I just have to put on my big girl panties and deal with it but I just needed to vent a little.
I had the worst time getting down water right after the surgery. Talked to my nutritionist and she said to use crystal lite or propel. Worked wonders. Was much easier to get down the water. Now I can drink plain water but still like to mix it up with some crystal light lemonade or fruit punch flavors. Since we are not supposed to have caffeine, I also drink Starbucks Passion Iced tea. It is unsweetened and decaf. Hope this works for you.
I find drinking lukewarm water is much easier than cold water. Good luck.
I agree! This made it easier and still does at almost 7.5 months out. I'll fill a glass full from the dispenser on the fridge and then leave it out for awhile. I do the same when it comes to having a cold bottle of water. If its too cold then I have trouble.
I drink SF diet Peach Tea Snapple. I also ate a lot of SF popsicles in the beginning. You have to get your liquids in so keep experimenting with different liquids.
Try different temps, different flavors, whatever you can. Right now it's medicine. Get it done. You can do it.
