dumping caused by exercise?
I went for a walk today with a friend and totally overdid it on the distance. It also was very humid and sunny and I was sweating a lot. Afterward, I got dumping symptoms and almost fainted. I know it wasn't food-related -- it had been a couple of hours since I ate (protein) and I was drinking water as I was walking. Does this ever happen to anyone? I am 7 weeks post-op.
What symptoms did you get?
You may have been somewhat dehydrated or had low blood sugar. But exercise will NOT cause dumping syndrome. It's just not possible.

It is absolutely, absolutely, absolutely NOT dumping syndrome. The ONLY way you can dump is by eating too much sugar.
It's hard to say what it was without knowing more. Since it was a couple of hours since you ate, it could have been hypoglycemia. It could be low blood pressure, possibly orthostatic hypotension. My guess would be slight dehydration, or just simply overdoing things in the heat.
But not dumping.
