Size 16! Great to shop at NORMAL stores!

HI Gang,

Just a short note to let the universe know that 5.5 months post op, I am at size 16! It is great being able to walk into NORMAL stores like Kohls and purchase a skort or a pair of shorts for $23.99 rather than the $50-70.00 at plus sized stores.

Yesterday, I went with a friend and her kids to a state park. The walk to the beach was 2.0 miles and I did that easily. ON the way back, to keep her 8 year old kid entertained, we would race from landmark to landmark. The kid always won (oh, well) but he declared me "pretty fast."

tee hee!

So many fun, positive changes have happened in my life and I love the savings (in terms of the amount of food purchased at the grocery store and clothes purchased at the normal store) that have come into my life!

Current weight (2/27/2015) 139lbs, ~14% body fat

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !

Congrats! I think that is one of my favorite things too! I will say, though, that at first I was a little intimidated to have SO many choices in both variety of stores available and also just square footage of store space available within a store, rather than a little area devoted to plus sizes. Overall though crazy fun!

Now donate those old clothes that don't fit to a homeless shelter or something and get them out of your closet!
