What's the average?

If you follow your plan you will do well. The hard part is people lose at a different pace than others.I have lost a little over 100 pounds since October.Don't compare yourself to anyone else. People have different plans from their doctors also.
One thing I will say don't always look at the numbers they can make you crazy.I think NSVs are one of the best parts of the surgery.Like dancing all night at a wedding or sitting in a booth without being stuffed in there.
Good luck on your surgery
I went from 297 (before the 2 week liquid diet) to about 165ish in that time frame.
HW - 297 start of Pre-op - 290.2 SW- 279.2 GW - 145
A middle aged over the hump and over what "I'm suppose to do" woman, with the wild spirit and a nasty case of depression and anxiety!
There are a LOT of variables, so it is hard to guess.
My wife was around 367 when she had hers done 7 months ago. At around month 5, she hit a stall at 80 lbs down. She stayed around 80 lbs for a month and a half and then finally broke free and has lost 20 in the last month or so.
Another friend had surgery a few days before my wife and I have no idea how much she weighed, but she lost more at the beginning (I think she had to stay on liquids longer) but now is just a bit ahead of my wife.
And honestly, you have surgery, you recover, you follow the plan and you lose what you lose. I guarantee you will be lighter and feel better about yourself than you do today (I assume this is why you are asking).

Had surgery on New Year's Eve (almost 6 months ago). I have lost 116 pounds so far. Everyone is different.

After the inital loss an average of 8-10 lbs / month. I'm down 87 in almost 5.5 months with 130 to lose
