NSV
Well today is my 8th month surgery anniversary. I've lost 98 lbs and desparately trying to get 2 more pounds gone by the end of the month. Silly, I know to put so much pressure on myself for 2 lbs but I never dreamed that losing ANY weight was possible for me. Losing 100lbs is incredible. I weigh less now than I did in high school and that was in the '70's!
I agree with others here, each of us are on our own journey. I feel mine has been slower compared to some others but this week I was blessed with another incredible NSV.
My beautiful, crazy, non-stop 7yr old son, very distracted by his surroundings, crawled up on my lap and just sat there, snuggled in. I didn't have a lap 8 months ago!! I get teary even sharing this with you. Sometimes, NSV's are much sweeter than the diminishing numbers on the scale.
