pre wls diet
I was required to drink 3 protein shakes (made with either skim milk or water) a day and the DR. required the use of Bariatric Advantage protein. You could also consume 300 calories daily from low sodium broths and sugar free popsicles, yogurt, applesauce and pudding.
The first three days were hell due to head aches, hunger, tired and soreness but once that passed it was easy and I had a ton of energy. I was on the pre-op diet for 3 weeks and lost 21 lbs. which was 4 lbs. over my requirement.
