Hello,

Since this month was my five year surgiversary, I wanted to celebrate by posting some compilation pics. The final step in this whole process for me will be plastics to remove excess skin in Sept. I am so grateful for my RNY!!!

OK, weird. It makes you right click on the image and then choose open in new tab. Sorry, sort of anti-climactic

WOW, what a change. Your face looks just as beautiful and happy as you did before surgery, but you're half the person in body size. So happy to hear you have kept it off for 5 years - I am struggling with binging on bad foods and trying to get this under control so I can say that I have maintained after 5 years, also.

What a transformation! The picture with the old jeans made me wish I had kept one pair of old pants for a picture like that. Thanks for posting! At two years out with 140 pound loss I hope to be maintaining like you at year 5! Congratulations!

Thank you for posting the pics. It is inspiring to see what a significant change looks like. I still look in the mirror and wander if my body will ever adjust to loosing all this weight. Your pictures show me how beautiful i can be after the weight all comes off. Well done!

Thank you everybody. The five years have been a journey with some ups and downs. I had some regain at about three years out, but with my tool I was able to correct that. Consistency has been key for me and honesty in the form of a food journal.

Keeping the jeans has been somewhat painful over the years...it is just such a concrete reminder. This was the first time I had gotten them out and put them on. It was fun!
