Aspercream

Went to the drs yesterday since my toes were hurting and she recommended I get some aspercream to put on them, but I forgot it has aspirin in it.  Was wondering if anyone has another kind of cream to use instead?

I love Biofreeze. My late father was deathly allergic to aspirin and his doctor recommended it.

BioFreeze is great...I've always bought it from my physical therapist.

One of the vets can hopefully answer this, but I thought our problem with aspirin (and other painkillers) was because of the lack of stomach acid to cushion our pouches.  With this being the case, I really thought topical aspirin is fine for us!?   Or is this a personal allergy issue?

Aspirin can cause ulcers in anyone, but for us with our blind stomach it makes it harder to treat. Even aspirin absorbed in the skin gets into our bloodstream and can lead to ulcers.
