Colonoscopy- Gavilyte-N Colon Cleanser

Are there any problems associated with taking the colon cleanser prescribed prior to having a colonoscopy?  I avoid taking any medication that is not absolutely necessary, other than my vitamins, and I'm very concerned about this.  Any insight would be helpful!!

Same as everyone else - it sucks!   No reason why we can't do it though - we're not that precious 

Just guessing, but I'd say when the gavilyte takes effect, our new gut system has the powerful capabilities to put out a house fire from twenty feet away.
