half hour rule--not long enough for me

After I eat, I really feel like I can't drink for at least an hour after.  Sometimes much longer.  I still feel full and don't want to ingest anything.  It really isn't an issue or a problem at all, and I get my fluids in.  I was just wondering if anyone else feels this way?

My center recommends waiting a full hour before drinking.

I usually feel the same way even at 6 years out. I generally wait an hour.

I drink with all meals as needed but I NEVER allow myself to get full, I hate feeling food in my body, I associate that with being fat.  So I eat until I just feel it and then stop.  Is it easy?  For me yes.  At goal at nearly 10 years out.

I probably made it sound like I'm uncomfortably full, but I didn't mean it that way. I just feel like I don't want to eat or drink because I'm satisfied full, and it feels like drinking would push me over the edge.

Drinking with meals makes it easier to eat less, I don't exercise so calories matter a lot to me.  If I exercised outside of walking I could eat more.  I don't like the feeling of food in my stomach at all, once I can feel I have eaten I stop eating, but at my point I can eat 1 full cup before that happens.

NO. Drinking while eating makes it easier to eat more. Not liking the feeling of food in your stomach? Perhaps you are overeating? With each subsequent post, it seems you reveal a pattern if disordered eating, if not an outright eating disorder (not eating all day then eating until you go to bed). I think it is absolutely irresponsible for ypu to say these things then point out you are maintaining. You are putting your health at risk and giving new people the idea that your way is healthy. OP, I ofen go 45 minutes to an hour after eating to drink. As long as you get your water in, I think it it is fine to wait longer. 30 minutes is the minimum.
