half hour rule--not long enough for me
I usually feel the same way even at 6 years out. I generally wait an hour.

Drinking with meals makes it easier to eat less, I don't exercise so calories matter a lot to me. If I exercised outside of walking I could eat more. I don't like the feeling of food in my stomach at all, once I can feel I have eaten I stop eating, but at my point I can eat 1 full cup before that happens.
NO. Drinking while eating makes it easier to eat more. Not liking the feeling of food in your stomach? Perhaps you are overeating? With each subsequent post, it seems you reveal a pattern if disordered eating, if not an outright eating disorder (not eating all day then eating until you go to bed). I think it is absolutely irresponsible for ypu to say these things then point out you are maintaining. You are putting your health at risk and giving new people the idea that your way is healthy.
OP, I ofen go 45 minutes to an hour after eating to drink. As long as you get your water in, I think it it is fine to wait longer. 30 minutes is the minimum.
