I drank it before surgery and liked it but wanted to know if it was safe afterwards. Thanks.

The first ingredient is polydextrose. I thought that was a form of fiber. The no protein doesn't bother me because I was just going to add it to my plain water anyway. I appreciate you're reply.

I do not know why you would drink this product. Perhaps you just like the taste. or you think it helps weight loss. I have been using Jay Robb protein powder for many years now. I bring it with me on trips. I successfully lose weight on vacation trips not pack on the pounds. I hope this helps you. My choice because I had RNY surgery is his 100% Whey Isolate protein powder.

good luck

it is a soluble fiber derived from glucose( sugar) and the 10 calories per sleeve are coming from somewhere.

Again it's not for protein intake. Just to add to water. Part of my fluids.

Why do you want to take it? You just had weight loss surgery. Are you worried it won't work????

The weight loss industry has made millions claiming this product or that product will help us lose weight. It's BS.

No I'm not worried it won't work. This was revision and the loss is super slow but I have trouble getting water in and this helped me before surgery with that.

It's nothing but a bunch of chemicals, and it claims to have magical weight loss properties. Snake oil. I would never drink that stuff.

You should really use your honeymoon period to change your way of thinking. There isn't a magic food that will help lose weight. Stick to your plan. Choose healthy food. Protein first, low carbs. Drink lots of water. Be more active. Don't drink during or after meals.

The plan isn't hard. Doing it is, but the surgery will give you time to make adjustments. Aim for a lifestyle change, and avoid a dieting mentality that will lead you to try crazy products like that.

It's just another weight loss gimmick.  I know there are all kinds of "health benefit claims" out there about Plexus, but NONE are substantiated with the FDA or legitimate scientific studies.

I'm with Grim.  Use this honeymoon period to change the way you think about losing weight.  Work your program and don't waste your money on gimmicks.  If those claims were true there would be no need for WLS and we would all been magically thin and healthy.  Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no magic pill (or drink), no Santa Claus, and no Easter Bunny,  but I'm still hoping for unicorns and fairies to be real.

The only way to  weight loss and better health is to change your relationship with food and get off your butt and move.
