Finally!!!!

I haven't posted anything in awhile. Just wasn't in a good place. My BMI was over 70 and my surgeon wouldn't touch me then I was diagnosed as type 2.......BUT.....

After two long years of having surgery scheduled and having to cancel due to my parents being ill.... (they took care of me so it was my turn to take care of them) I finally had my surgery on December 10, 2014 at 7:30 A.M.  It has been a rough first week, but I did it. The drains came out yesterday and boy what a relief!!!! Oh yeah and I had lost 29 pounds but the drains were out!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on finally having your surgery. The first couple weeks are pretty rough. I had my surgery in August 2014 so it wasn't that long ago. I remember how I felt that first week.

Thanks! Yes so far it has been kinda rough. Somedays I feel like I have been hit by a mack truck, other days a vw! How have you done so far?
