NSV

I had a major NSV today. I went into the ocean today for the first time in 20 or so years. I would never go in because I was always afraid I wouldn't be able to get back up from the waves. I did need help to get  but that was from laughing so much. I had no idea how much sand a bathing suit can hold.

Post an NSV that you have had. We have to help each other move on with our weight loss and be positive.

Awesome!! Anytime I'm in the ocean I realize how 'small' and weak we are in comparison to how powerful the water can be. Sounds like you had fun! Sand in in swimsuit...reminds of a baby with a loaded diaper... Hate that feeling!

I had a huge nsv today... My hubby picked me up & wrapped my legs around him.granted I'm still 270ish pounds, so no we didn't look as graceful add they did on dirty dancing... But he was able to... Wow... Just wow!!

THE DH just did a similar thing to me....lol He impulsively grabbed me up into an "across the threshold Bridal carry"...I couldn't stop goggling like a school girl! Such fun!

So happy for you 3B.  What a great NSV.  Its so liberating to do activities like this that we did as kids or 20 some odd years ago. So glad you had fun.  And yes, sand does get everywhere!

My NSV today is I was running late this morning to catch my commuter train into work. I pulled into the car parking lot as the train was pulling into the station. I parked the car, grabbed my purse and RAN like a bat outa hell to get the train, I had to go up three flights of stairs to get the train. I MADE IT!! I was huffing and puffing but I made it. NEVER in a million years pre surgery would I have even tried to run for the train. I would have just taken the next one and been late for work.  But I ran, and it felt amazing to be able to do this.

Have a great evening,
Daisy
