I'm approved!
Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself since my insurance approved surgery today! This isn't my first rodeo - I had the lap-band done in 2007 and subsequently removed in 2009 after a horrific infection. Since it's been 6 years band-free I'm not sure if this is technically considered a revision, but I am excited nonetheless! I see my surgeon on 9/17 and that's when I'll get my date!

Welcome. I also had the band in 2007 and am in process of going through requirements for a revision to RNY.
