Think of all that can go right!! My most vivid memory of surgery was waking in recovery and have my doc thank me & shake my hand for doing my part in making the surgery a success.

Whats good/ been righted??

Blood Pressure meds-- gone!

Overactive bladder-- gone! I now pee maybe 2X during a workday vs. the 8-9 times previously.

Sex is-- GREAT!!

Down from size 26 to 16/18

I can ride my bike again w/o the tires pleading for mercy!

You'll do great-- just follow your surgeons instructions!

Always nice to hear the goodness pieces. However, question....do you now have a super bladder? 64 ounces of water and twice in a workday?  That would be a dream come true.

I doubt I regularly get 64 oz of water in. I carry a 32oz bottle with me everyday to work and drink that throughout the day. At home I drink another 16-20 oz of water or other diet beverage (snapple, etc).

So at most I get 52 oz... Works for me.

hey I didn't get scared until the day of surgery! I had mine on june 24th and don't regeret it at all the day after I was in pain and for about three days afterbut it gets better every day after that. you have to think about the outcome  I was 257lbs and didn't have my a1c under control so I had the rny surgery. and I'm loving it !!!! both my wife and I had surgery she was on the 7th of may and mine on 24th of june she has lost 70 plus lbs and I have lost 59 lbs . I lost 35% of my excess body weight in the first month. of course I walk 5-8 miles a day and eat only until I feel full and stop. after you have surgery you wont eat much and you will start to loose  when you start to feel full STOP!!!or you may vomit and that's not pleasant you will do just fine do you have support from you're family? because that is a key thing you need support from them to help you through this remember the first few days after surgery are the worst days and it gets better you just have to remember that you wont be able to eat that pint of ice cream or the half bag of oreos and there are some foods that you wont be able to eat hang in there
