I had gastric bypass 6 yrs ago. I have gained 10 lbs and time to lose it again. What is a realistic amount of weight I should lose In a week?

A pound a week is excellent.  Because your body is smaller you need less calories to maintain.  Try 1000 calories a day for ten weeks to get back to 140.

I can lose 1-2 pounds a week when I am strict with my eating (low carbs, cutting back around 500 calories a day). I gained 7 pounds over the holidays. It took me 4-5 weeks to lose it.

Thank you. I was actually proving a point to my husband that 1-2 lbs a week is realistic. He was saying 1 lb a day. I said yes if I had 100 lbs to lose & I was new to rny.  ??

It took me app 4-6 months to lose for good and maintain my last 5-6  lbs of regain.  I would get to my goal...and then 3 days later the scale would go up. Or a week later.. I aimed for my goal - 3 lbs... So when my weight fluctuate daily I am within my goal range.

The body gets comfortable at some number - and losing that and resetting the body weight point - may take a while.

Last 2 months just following my daily routine I easily maintain my current weight.. (i don't have to measure and log my food...)
