Ugh - I have my first cold in a long time and definitely first time post-op.  Any recommendations on relief?  I no NSAIDs are a no go. Nyquil is my normal go-to cold relief.   Is Nyquil ok & if so, the regular recommended dose? Active ingredients are listed as acetaminophoen 325 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg, Doxylamine succinate 6.25 mg.  I'm also concerned about the alcohol content.  Suggestions appreciated.

My first suggestion would be to just ride it out - it's just a cold!!!!

If you have to take something, Nyquil is fine, same dosage as every other person.

Tylenol makes a cold medicine, both in liquid and pill form.
