I went thrift store shopping over the weekend because of I was in dire need of work clothes that fit me. Over the last three months, I started out in a 3x shirt and went down to 2x and have been wearing 1x. This time I started looking at all of the XL shirts in the regular people section and I kept thinking they were tiny. Way too small for me. My friend told me to try them on so I did and they fit. My mental image of my size does not measure up to my real size. I'm still in XL but thrilled to not be shopping in the plus sizes.

That is SO EXCITING!!!  I still go to the plus size section on auto pilot.  AND I always end up buying clothes that are too big...WTF?!?  lol

Three years out and I STILL feel the pull of Lane Bryant, but I've stopped whimpering as a pass by it as I walk through the mall. Now I have to stop whimpering as I pass Coach and Michael Kors.

This happened to me with the towels at the gym!  I got so happy that they listened to me and got bigger ones that fit people my size. My friend pointed out ...the towels were the same size.

That's funny! I was just thinking that about my towels when I got out of the shower. They seemed so much bigger. 

I LOVE wrapping myself in a regular size bath towel!
