As of last Thursday, I am 3 weeks post op. And I have been at 202 for over a week now. I have searched the forums and found this is a common stall time but boy it is still depressing just the same. I sure hope this doesn't last much longer.

Yeah even though you know it can happen, it stilll sucks big time! Mine lasted about a week and a half. Going up and down the same 1.5lbs.

It will pass, just keep following your plan.

I am 7 months post surgery, and stalls are totally normal.  I stalled at 3 weeks also.  Thought that was it, I was just going to loose the 40 lbs that I had lost at 3 weeks.  I have lost over 80 now, with a few stalls.  It is normal.  It is hard to live through it, but you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine started after my first week post-op and lasted for 22 days. There is no way to describe how bad it sucks but you need to stop weighing yourself for a while for your sanity.

I didn't stall until the 6 month mark, but I've been here for 4 weeks bouncing up and down 1-2 lbs each week.  I think this week it finally broke (fingers crossed) because it really sucks!  Will know for sure next Monday I guess.

Hang in there!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

All you can do is enjoy the ride as part of the process.

I too have had several slow downs in the last 5 months, and just broke out of a 4 week period that I only lost 2 lbs., but loss is really kicking in again.

The slow downs had me constantly looking to insure I was following the plan, (playing mind games) and doing all I could do that was right, but in the end it all levels out.

as long as you are taking in the right number of calories and protein and measuring your food you will break the stall. Are you logging everything and what are you eating/drinking?

Make sure you take your measurements. I also stalled for 3 weeks but the inches were coming off. Good luck to you.
