I was thinking the same. I actually worry for folks who find this easy. If losing is so easy- imagine how much easier regain is.

I Won't Regain. The RNY makes it so easy, I'm not deprived, I'm not suffering trying to Diet, It's truly Amazing!!!  I'm in my 8 month and have taken it slow.  I'm a Success Story For Life. Positive Thoughts, no negativity here, I have nothing negative to say about it.  Sad some people just can't be Happy.

You won't regain? I hope for you life is roses and rainbows with no tragedy, illness, or any of the other things that happen in most lives: cancer, death of family, job loss, major move, etc.

You are 8 months out. You still have the magic, rosy glow of invincibility surrounding you. In short, you haven't done this long enough to have much experience with WLS.

What's really sad is that some folks think WLS is a magic pill and don't understand that it is just a tool that needs to be used correctly.

Yea the first year or two may be "easy", but then the real work comes in and that is when many start to realize it is a lot harder than expected.  They lose their focus, old habits come back and the regain begins.  Get your head in the game now or you will wish you had.

What has made it easy for you? I had my surgery 3 months ago aND I want to say that I am struggling in tye sense that I am not eating healthy.  I'm eating very small meals but I have to admit I am snacking on cookies, candy and chips here and there and not eating much protein and I also missed this month's doctors appointment so I am not sure if I have lost any weight this month. I may be naive but I'm hoping that I still lose weight by just eating small portions. I felt hopeful with your comment, specifically when u said you didn't feel deprived. I feel the same way but fear if I continue in this pattern I won't lose anymore weight.

Losing 95 pounds for me was also easy. Super, super easy.

But not the easiest thing I've ever done in my life. The easiest thing I ever did was gain 95 pounds. That was incredibly easy. I did it without even trying.
