Do you have an exercise routine that you follow, daily or weekly?

If so, what is it and how has it helped in your maintenance of weight loss?

In battling my regain, I have found that combining the exercise and meal tracking/prepping are working for me.    And, I am wondering if others are finding the same or still stick to tracking and prepping alone.

I don't formally exercise and never have, just love to walk, I maintain by diet alone. I have stayed within my goal range for nearly 12 years. If I feel like I gained I literally put myself on a seriously restricted calorie plan until my jeans fit loose again.  It's worked so far.

Good Luck!

I walk my dogs daily - usually 3 miles ish, depending on the weather.  I was a gym rat in the early years, but enthusiasm waned and age increased.

I put my walking shoes on and walk.  Outside in good weather, at the mall or Walmart in bad weather.  Today it is going to be 35 degrees with sunshine.  I am walking in a National Action Day rally to protest the elimination of the affordable care act.

I wear a fitness tracker and sync my steps to my phone daily.  I stay aware of my weight and my steps.

I hope they fix the so called :affordable" care act, my insurance went up $258.00 per Month more than I was already paying!  I can't afford it, so now I have an insurance with a $10,000.00 deductible that doesn't cover anything.  Just so I don't have to pay a fine

I hope they save the ACA.  I have no ability to cover my family without it.

We do want to fix it.  What happened to you is not right and what the Republicans want to do is not right.  We are the wealthiest nation that ever inhabited the earth.  Everyone should have care.

I will keep fighting until it happens.

I'm 8 years out. Walking makes me feel better physically and mentally, which I believe makes me want to eat well. Other than that and small hand weights, I really do not do any formal exercise.

I am only 8 years out, but After 2 babies, I now struggle with about 30 lbs that I have held on to after baby #2. I actually "bulked up" before the 2nd one since the first baby literally sucked every thing out of me and I didn't gain a pound during the entire pregnancy! (imagine all the skin & bones everywhere else though just to keep about 30lbs in my pregnant belly) I looke3d horrible and bones were sticking out... so I didn't want that again so I purposefully grazed all day, ate crap.. baby was healthy, gained a total of 5 lbs with that 2nd pregnant, but then that 5 lbs, plus the 10 I bulked up with before hand... and ok, a few more have crept on now.
I just ordered the Total Gym! GOOO Chuck Norris! I am really looking forward to it, since I have never really been an exerciser at any point during my WL journey. I did do team sports like volleyball, etc, but haven't since the 2 kids. I am also going back to the basics and following a Lazy Keto (low carb but stay in Ketosis) state, which helps me drop the weight fast enough for the effort to be worth it.
